Other information: The sculpture currently used was recovered in 2013 when it was donated by the City Council, since the original image disappeared at an unknown time. It is a full-body dressed statue, standing upright and holding in its left hand a representation of the globe.

Other information: Reorganized in 1987, becoming part of this brotherhood.

CRISTO DE LA EXPIRACIÓN CRISTO DE LA SANGRE

CHRIST OF THE EXPIRATION (CHRIST OF THE BLOOD)

Author: Attributed to Pablo de Rojas.

Date: 17th century.

Temple: Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Other information: Declared a Cultural Asset of Andalusia in 2015. The sculpture of Christ of the Blood represents the final moment of the crucified’s life. Made of polychromed wood and set on a rounded arboreal cross, it stands out for the great expressiveness of the face and the muscular tension of the neck.

VIRGEN DE LAS ANGUSTIAS

VIRGIN OF THE ANGUISHES

Author: José Navas Parejo.

Date: 1940.

Temple: Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Other information: Her first procession took place in September 1940. She carries a silver cross, a replica of that of the Virgin of the Anguishes of Granada, donated in 1930.

Author of the urn: Manuel Aumente Baena.

Other information: The throne was made by Miguel Arjona in 1960. This image is currently the central figure in the Descent from the Cross, celebrated at the end of the Good Friday Holy Offices. Restored in 2016 by Ana Infante.

Other information: This image of Saint John is the only one dressed in black, matching the chromatic style characteristic of the brotherhood.

Other information: Dressed candlestick-type image. Since 2025, it has been accompanied in procession by two new sculptures: Saint Mary Salome and Saint Mary Cleophas.

Other information: A highly valuable image. Her sorrowful face conveys the bitterness and pain proper to her representation.
