Other information: Carved as an arboreal cross symbolizing the Tree of Life, it features golden metal finials; at the top of the upright stands a carved Passion rooster representing Saint Peter’s denial, or a pelican, and from the horizontal beam hangs the Holy Shroud.

Date: First third of the 18th century.

Other information: A Sevillian School image from the late Baroque period, life-sized. Depicts Jesus carrying the cross on His left shoulder, walking forward with His right leg in front. His body leans slightly forward, head turned gently to the right, and eyes cast downward.

MARÍA MAGDALENA

MARY MAGDALENE

Author: Enrique Bellido.

Date: 1926.

Temple: San Francisco.

Other information: Stylistically a contemporary Neo-Baroque dressed image with natural hair. A Passion figure, she wears a silver halo and notably carries an ointment jar bearing the hallmark of Francisco Sánchez Bueno Taramas from the mid-18th century, a contemporary of Damián de Castro.

Date: 18th – early 19th century.

Temple: San Francisco.

Other information: A dressed image made of carved and polychromed wood. The figure holds a cloth bearing the face of Jesus Nazareno. It has been restored several times, the most recent restoration carried out by Salvador Guzmán in 2021.

Other information: A candlestick-type image made for dressing, carved in wood and polychromed in oil. It represents a sorrowful Virgin, typical of the Granadine School.
