Santa Marina Church

Santa Marina Church

Santa Marina Church, once an acute care hospital for Jesus of Nazareth, was built in 1711 by the Marichica brothers.

It stands out for its gated entrance, from which you can admire a courtyard surrounded by columns and capitals that form semicircular arches. The floor features tiles in a checkerboard design, while the ceiling is made up of wooden beams.

The building reflects the typical architecture of the time, with simple yet elegant elements. The combination of the church’s structure with the old hospital adds a unique historical and cultural layer to the place.

Santa Marina Church is a tangible testament to the art and religious history of its time, drawing visitors interested in its architectural beauty and historical significance.
